===================================================================== Parse::CPinfo ===================================================================== I created this module to parse the output from cpinfo. cpinfo is a troubleshooting tool commonly used on Check Point* products. cpinfo files are created by running 'cpinfo' from the command-line on a Check Point product and redirecting the output to a file. For example: cpinfo > /var/cpinfo.txt --------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION --------------------------------------------------------------------- To install this module type the following: perl Makefile.PL make make test make install --------------------------------------------------------------------- DEPENDENCIES --------------------------------------------------------------------- This module no longer requires any external modules. Thanks to the authors of Net::CIDR, Net::IPv4Addr, and Regexp::Common, I was able to incorporate their methods subroutines into Parse::CPInfo. --------------------------------------------------------------------- TODO --------------------------------------------------------------------- Better testing coverage. This module has only been tested against the cpinfo from the following devices: Hardware: VMWare Virtual Machine OS: SecurePlatform R61 CP Version: NGX R61 HFA_01 CPinfo Size: 39560 bytes Parsing Time: 0m0.793s Hardware: Dell Optiplex OS: SecurePlatform NGAI R55 CP Version: NGX R55 HFA_19 CPinfo Size: 16282007 Parsing Time: 7m27.051s (7.45085m) 2,185,254 bytes/min Hardware: Dell PowerEdge 2950 OS: SecurePlatform NGX R60 Build 244 CP Version: NGX R60 HFA_05 CPinfo Size: 19498045 Parsing Time: 7m17.349s (7.028915m) 2,773,976 bytes/min --------------------------------------------------------------------- BUGS --------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't promise that you won't find bugs. If you do, please file a bug report at http://rt.cpan.org or automatically report test failures via CPAN::Reporter. --------------------------------------------------------------------- COPYRIGHTS AND LICENSE --------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright (C) 2007 by Matthew M.
